The Refined Manufacturing Acceleration Process (ReMAP) is a new network made possible through the Government of Canada’s Business-led Networks of Centres of Excellence program. ReMAP is an integrated shared ecosystem for the acceleration of the commercialization of electronics products manufactured in Canada for a global market.
Working together, this network of academic institutions, research organizations, and a wide range of industry partners aims to build a product enablement supply chain for growth and innovation. ReMAP projects focus on advancing next-generation R&D by developing reliable and environmentally compliant materials, miniaturizing and reducing the cost of optical technologies for new markets, and improving the performance and cost efficiency of solar installations.
Through shared resources and knowledge, ReMAP promotes lateral innovation across many sectors to position products manufactured in Canada that will compete on a global scale.
Our mission is to enable and accelerate commercialization of electronics innovations ensuring that Canada’s investment in electronics technology translates into economic growth and job creation.
