    Philip Turi

    Director Business Development, Global Trade Group, EDC
    Philip Turi is the Director of Business Development, Global Trade Group at Export Development Canada where he develops Canada’s global trade portfolio to help and support companies who are seeking a more competitive position. Prior to that, Philip was General Counsel & Director, Global Business Services at Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME). As Director of Global Business Services, Philip worked toward building CME’s Export and Trade Services division, designed to increase member access to global market opportunities and information and facilitate international partnerships. Philip also managed the Enterprise Canada Network – a conduit to thousands of international business, technology and research opportunities and CME’s involvement in the federal government’s Global Markets Action Plan. Philip practiced corporate/commercial law at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP in Toronto and served as Ontario’s Private Sector Liaison to the World Bank. Philip Turi has also worked for the Canadian Embassy in Washington D.C.
