Canada-Germany Industry 4.0 Partnering Mission

Meet ReMAP at The Canada-Germany Industry 4.0 Partnering Mission in Berlin, Germany from February 26 to March 2, 2018. The Canadian delegation, consisting of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) & academic researchers active in the development or deployment of Industry 4.0 technologies will join leading players in German Industry 4.0 adoption.This Industry 4.0 Mission is Organized by The National Research Council of Canada, Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), and Global Affairs Canada (GAC). Their aim is to establish collaborative applied research and development opportunities in Industry 4.0 sectors between Canadian and German companies and their academic partners, leading to future economic benefits for Canada-Germany.The partnering event is planned to strategically match Canadian-German delegates enabling future success moving ahead. Presentations on the agenda include:

  • Support programs for collaborative international industrial R&D projects
  • German advanced manufacturing capabilities
  • Canadian and German delegates on their capabilities, collaborative project ideas, and partnership needs.

In partnership with BMBF (the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research), tours of German Advanced Manufacturing hubs have been organized. As part of the site visit program, delegates will meet academic and institutional researchers, visit demonstration facilities, and large and small and medium-sized companies who are key players in advancing Industry 4.0 development and adoption.Did you miss the Toronto's Industry 4.0 Seminar led by Dieter Wegener, Seimens AG?
