It's all about math!

The University of Toronto Math Department is hosting an event entitled “It’s all about math” at the Hart House on June 10th, 2016. Irene Sterian, as a business leader, will be discussing the role that mathematics plays in business in general and in IT specifically. This will be a panel discussion, Irene will be highlighting the diverse ways in which mathematics manifests in society.About “It’s all about math”"It's all about math" has the rather ambitious aim of raising awareness of the ubiquity of mathematics, and also to change stereotypical attitudes about math (mostly fear, gender bias, etc.) It is a very human and a very creative endeavour which is now manifesting in so many different ways all around us.
