Serial Entrepreneur, Founder and CEO, Mammoth Health
Dan Wasserman is a serial entrepreneur, author, and the founder and CEO of Mammoth Health Innovation. Before founding Mammoth Health, Dan served as an Executive in Residence at ventureLAB for almost six years, creating Healthcare Ecosphere, one of three provincially recognized healthcare innovation initiatives.
Dan began his career in the advertising agency business and became a serial entrepreneur selling his first business to AC Nielsen in the early 1990s. Dan co-founded an anti-piracy technology company and quickly became a globally regarded subject matter expert. This was followed by a series of consulting engagements that resulted in relocating to the US for 11 years. There he ran the government services end of an internet technology firm, which after 9/11, inadvertently stumbled across a clandestine form of communication. For five years, Dan collaborated with government agencies, the Pentagon, and law enforcement. In 2010 he returned to Canada where he mentors young entrepreneurs on how to build multi-national businesses.
Dan Wasserman has a passion for writing action novels with a technology theme. Dan’s first of three self-published novels, “Hong Kong Hollywood” is now available on Amazon.ca.
