    Dr. George Pinho

    President, Christie Medical Holdings, Inc.
    Dr. George Pinho is president of Christie Medical Holdings, Inc. (Christie Medical), a division of Christie Digital Systems, Inc. headquartered in Cypress, California. Under George’s direction, Christie Medical develops and markets innovative imaging technologies for visualization, diagnostics, and treatment applications for acute and non-acute care environments. George began his career with Christie in 2001 as senior product developer and has held progressive roles including project leader, director of business products development and senior director of business products development before becoming president. George has a rich educational background in science and business. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Waterloo and a MBA with specialization in strategy, marketing and finance from Wilfrid Laurier University. George has interests in a wide variety of fields, with 14 research publications focusing on projection, optics and laser applications. George also holds 8 patents for digital projection and medical device technologies.
