As General Manager for INO-Ontario, Marci Vernon is responsible for the identification and pursuit of new business and technical opportunities across markets such as biomedical and advanced manufacturing, ensuring their alignment with INO’s technology roadmap and core business strategy. Marci started her career at INO’s head office in Quebec City as a research scientist and thereafter became Biophotonics Program Manager. Marci accepted the challenge in 2009 to open and grow INO-Ontario in Hamilton at the McMaster Innovation Park. Her focus is to leverage INO’s expertise and intellectual property for Ontario businesses’ commercial benefit and to forge partnerships with industry and academia. She is actively involved in key innovation organizations, including Advisory Board positions with the OCE and the PV Network. Marci holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Western Ontario.
