George Pinho, PhD, MBA

Dr. George Pinho has over 20 years of experience in senior management roles in product development, business development, strategic planning, and executive management in the hi-tech industry. 

Dr. Pinho is a partner at Stone Ridge Consulting, where he focuses on leadership, team development, and strategic planning consulting. Before joining Stone Ridge Consulting, he was President of Christie Medical Holdings, a Christie Digital Systems business unit focused on solving venous access problems. Dr. Pinho started Christie Medical Holdings in 2010, leading the company through the development and launch of several new medical imaging products and expanding sales to over 45 countries. In 2019 he sold the business and stepped down to focus on consulting. Prior to Christie Medical, Dr. Pinho was Director of Product Development for display projectors at Christie Digital Systems, for which he holds multiple patents in imaging systems for projectors. 

Dr. Pinho holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University. He is also a Distinguished Alumni in the Faculty of Science at the University of Waterloo, a recognition received for his work in developing imaging products and launching and building Christie Medical.
